The movie on Friday night is titled "Norwood in the 1970's". Showing the plant in operation during the 1970's with primary cars of interest including a 1970 Z28 during assembly at Fisher Body- an SS-396 Camaro and Trans-AM 's on the final line over at Chevrolet Chassis using 1970 as an example.
In addition the "Meet the Makers" Forum discussion Panel will be expanded to four tables this year and the Room PA system will be used. Two roving microphones will be used to gather questions from the car owners and gather answers from other retirees in the room not seated at the tables in the front.
....and the main events follow on Saturday...
Thanks to Ron Liebert we will have 1970 Firebird body shell on display in a tribute to the ELPO red Oxide dipping process used at Fisher Body.
The Retirees are sending a big welcome to MAD MIKE Maciolek...the man behind Nasty Z28, who will be in attendance this year.
I just selected the video producers that will be doing the official plant history documentary. Yes there will be an upcoming film documentary on the Norwood Plant and its history making operations.
In the tradition of film documentary work pioneered by the likes of Ken Burns- the finished film work will likely appear on either Speed, or the Discovery family of networks when complete.
Filming and interviews will begin at the reunion. I am thinking that if you need a display example for how a car was built then the display cars will provide ample backdrop for the stories of what it was like to build them.

Sure-6:00 PM start at Larosa's. The back parking lot at Larosa's is the old Management parking lot for the Norwood Plant.

Is anything open to the public on Friday? I plan on going to the cruise in on Saturday because the 81 is a L.A. car and the 69 Norwood car would not be ready for this event.Thanks
