    I agree, based on what I can see...this is not a good example. The rear bumper is missing the center bolt. The tail panel is a sloppy made in China piece, door gaps are huge! The trunk lid is so way off and sunken...Not to mention, I even suspect the fenders are repop based on the headlight bucket area fit. I would walk away from this car as a buyer.

    Grundy used to do stated value no questions asked. I suggest an appraisal and go from there.

    If that is their only data point than yeah, that’s a poor baseline. I have wondered how they choose the cars they base their value ranges on. Do you want hey actually go and look at the cars or do they just look at the auction photos and results. I would base more on BAT results than Mecum or BJ. The photographers for the big auction houses really know how to shoot a car to hide the faults.
