    I bet that factory installed 572 drivetrain in a new Camaro is greater than the sum of its parts. Very cool.

    572 BBC? you can bet GM has already hit that 1000hp and more on the dyno.

    It is less than 1000, the cyl heads are pretty conservative for this displacement and the cam is only .714 lift.

    NHRA 430hp factored 572??? there is something fishy with that one. You can bet it will make more than that.

    The article says it was choked down to 430hp for a specific class. We all know a 572 will make way more than 700 easily if they want it to. It just depends upon which class they will run those cars in.
