Guys

Just thought I would pas some helpful info for anyone that replaces their 2nd gen Dashpad .

The cluster has only 4 rubber tabs to screw into and it’s flimsy as Sh.. - the cluster kept rattling/ I stuffed foam around it many times and nothing worked . I made metal tabs that were 16 gauge tin , like 1 inch wide by 2 inches long . Easy to bend all the way around the rubber tab . Pre drilled a #6 metal screw and now it’s solid.

Ya those aluminum tabs are for the face plate if you want to call it , the other 4 little rubber nubs that the cluster itself fastens to are what I made the tabs for.

Thanks ya I was tired of watching my cluster move/ vibrate..
