Did gauge marks branch out and start selling his factory looking oil gauge to other vendors? I noticed on one of the Camaro sites you can get the factory oil gauge for the clock spot. Just would like to know if this is his or not?

He hasn't been active on this site for a while, or isn't a regular member like he was 3-4 years ago.

Do you have a link to that oil pressure guage? I'm curious about it now

While Daniel at Gauge Marks is not very active on this particular site, he's still active in his business. Best way to contact him is by telephone using number listed on his site's contact info.

This one is definitely more expensive than his, by about $40. Do not know if it comes with or without sending unit.

That's his gauge, I recognize the writing on the back compared to the old one I bought from him. Looks like that's the "vendor" markup.

If I can remember correctly I had to buy a sender for mine as it didn't come with one. Ended up getting it at o-rellies for around $10

I know this is an old thread but if you click the link to camero central that gauge is roughly 160.00 and Daniels is now 230.00. If Daniel made the central Camaro why did he reverse the numbers? Anybody got an opinion.

The best thing to do is to ask Daniel directly. When I bought my oil gauge from Pete at FBody Warehouse, he explained why there was a difference between his and Camaro Central even though both were made by Daniel. I'm not going to repeat why because it was several years ago and may not apply to what kind of deal they all have set up today.
Having said that, I wanted the one that the needle sweeps and the numbers read from left to right.

thanks billydean. I edited my post and Daniels is 230.00 not 130.00. I wanted one that read like you from left to right. I called Daniel on a Saturday and talked with him and purchased one thru him. Saturday night I was browsing the forum and came across the post and link. I actually did a search for oil gauges and found the link and all the other vendors links. I was just curious because Fbody and Daniels look a like and priced somewhat alike. CC is not. Thanks Ricky

OK got my oil gauge in and thought I would share how to plug the hole that is created when the clock stem is removed. I just went to Lowe's and purchased the 3/16 Nylon hole plug. I will do it tonight and will update this thread if it is a direct fit or if I have to drill it out with a 3/16 bit. You will of course have the black plug down there.
