Right now it is apples to oranges, but in ten years from now you'll never know. The market could have cared less about 70-73 camaro a when the first gen boom took off, now look. But it really says a lot when someone considers someone stupid cause they buy what they like at a price they think is fair.
70-73 will always out draw later 2nd gens just they way 67-69 will outdraw 70-73. the gap just closes *all else being equal - condition, desirability (z28, etc)...
Speaking of contrasting interior colors, I pulled this off our local CL, does the interior look correct to you guys. I had a black '80 Z28 years ago with the red interior, but the whole interior was red, not just parts of it. I wonder if Gm does this for red/red cars back then? 1981 Z28 4-speed
Meh. If I had to spend 34k and my ONLY 2 options were buy a 70-73 or this 81 for that price, I'd buy the 81. Condition being equal. There's so much overpriced early stuff it makes something like this not all that shocking.
