    Took mmaiden voyage of new motor..short sweet..I know comp is low but want to know
    #'s..here it is: 355 6" rod quench of .39 2valve FT 76cc 487 with all work done..
    194/1.6...btw its smoothe as butter!!..lol..not strip car just a driver..221/231 .470 cam
    On 108..thanks guys!..ready set go!!

    Sorry but I'm not quite as optimistic as 425. I'm going to say 350-375. Do you have any flow numbers on your heads?

    6" rods are wasted on a low performance cam.
    0.39" quench would give very low compression, add a blower or a lot of NOS to build cylinder pressure.
    Maybe 300 hp at the flywheel.

    I would guess around 330HP well tuned.

    I'm sure you meant .039 on the quench, I understood that on the first read.:)

    325hp at the flywheel is my guess as well. Take it to the track a few times, see how she does!

    I don't have any phone numbers on heads.. where I come from
    we do our own work.. originally this motor was going
    in a Street Stock race car.. 3 years and two broke feet later
    this motor was still waiting for something!.. basically using
    what I have.. did swap the cam out.. this is 3 year old
    brand new stuff!!..lol
