I'm from knoxville. Anything going on over your way? Knoxville dragstrip is open friday. I'd be game to go. Be nice to meet a fellow member here.
You could figure out power two ways. Dyno or weight and mph. Weight and mph is cheaper and waaaay more fun. Dyno would be exact, but you'd be real close the other way.
Not gonna guess bc well it'd just be a guess. If you're happy nothing else really matters. You could just do what i do when asked and say well i know it's got at least 150 hp. Cant go wrong there:)

True, but as a true enthusiast one must not discriminate the good old right turn...Lol In america that's the inside lane on the back road twisties...
Well that and you cant really get a power estimate (the theme of the thread) turning left using time, distance and weight.

Tack, they can be made to do both with some good old tinkering and of course cash. Sounds like we have some things in common. If you don't like the straights, there's always The Dragon up on 129. Don't really need much more than 300 hp there unless you have an ultra expensive ultra dialed in chassis/susp. Better be able to turn both ways there, but its a blast even at speed limit + 5 or 10mph speeds. Other than that there are no tracks but straight line dragstrips close. I work up in tri cities a lot so I know where that's at. Broke down at 415 exit once. Mine is not finished nor a show car, just a fixed up go car. Anyways seein as we are only about 30 miles apart if I can ever help just let me know. Aint got a truck or trailer but got tools and a good back.
