My wheels have FINALLY shipped today (4 months after I paid for them!)

They should arrive early this week.

The Camaro has been making good progress, the roof and rear quarter has been painted and I am currently working on final assembly of all the body panels back onto the car.

I'll post pictures when she's all together :)

A complete interior assembly hardware kit arrived, every section of the interior is neatly packaged and separated. This will make the interior assembly much easier and should make it go faster as well.

The rear bumper I speak of arrived a few weeks ago. It is a flex fiberglass from Stinger fiberglass designs. She bolted up real nice and did not require any trimming (Other than the license plate mount)

A new brake & clutch pedal assembly also arrived. This has also been installed into the Camaro and both have been connected and are now functional.

The top of my Tremec TKO was touching the top of the transmission tunnel.

I decided to cut this section out so it did not rub, wear or make noise.

Once it was cut out and not touching the floor any longer I cleaned up the edges as nice as I could.

Then using a paper towel I taped over the new cut hole I traced it out as well as the shifter.

Once that was complete I placed the paper towel on a piece of sheet metal and traced it with about an extra 1" then cut it out.

Once I cut out the basic shape I fit it over the new hole to check the fit and start to shape it to the tunnel.

Once I had the basic shape and clearance over the trans I drilled it in place and used self tapping screws to hold it in place rather than welding it. This allows access into the top of the trans if I ever need to check it out or want to change shifter positions (Since there are a total of 7 possible shifter locations)

Once that was complete I used an etch primer and then painted it a flat black. Now the TKO clears the floor and does not touch anywhere. Now I'll hide all this work under the Dynamat and carpet.
