Mike,

Do you know why the Tremec was hitting the trans tunnel? I thought there would be no mods with the sheet metal? I'm getting ready to order mine here soon and I saw you had to do some chopping and was just wandering what your thoughts were on this. Thanks man and I love your thread! Damn near doing everything the same as I'm trying to do to mine. Keep it up man!

The Tremec does fit in the tunnel without having to cut the floor but the top of the trans just touches a little. I am using solid body mounts and solid engine mounts so more than likely the trans would not of rubbed and made any noise but I did not want to take the chance, so I cut out around it.

In the first photo of post #370 you can see the shifter plus two cover plates in front of the shifter location. The middle cover on the trans touched the most in the lower corners where the bolts are.

My rims arrived today but I am out of town until Friday.

I will go Saturday morning to get the tires installed on the wheels and get them mounted on the Camaro followed by some pictures.

Since the car has been half painted and the rear spoiler installed and rear bumper and bumper cover installed. I have ordered new taillights, taillight gaskets, a new fuel door and L.E.D lights. This wraps up the rear end. I am leaving town today for two weeks. I am planning to get some progress pictures posted of the car assembled and painted when I get back.
