well that show last weekend we got lumped into a classw/ others cuz there were only 2 ,2nd gens,@ this one it was mine and that 74 Z he was in a different class i was in the 70 to present so it was me and those other 3 they looked mine over for a bit and then moved to theres i guess i need to move to a 3rd gen lol,seeing as the 1st show of the year i got beat out by an 87 iroc and now by two Z's and a 6cyl. bird
only thing i can figure is the white one had new paint the iroc and the fbird had orignal paint and mine has some scratches and nicks, or the judges thought i should be in a different class and didnt say anything when i registered
he was a really nice guy talked to us and didnt have any smart comments . like last week w/ the trans am / when the wife said about cleaning the chrome
You lost to those dime a dozen 3rd Gens?! Sounds like a conspiracy to me. No love for the 2nd Gens I guess.
I lost all respect when I went to my first show once the car was done earlier this year and I lost to a stock challenger, mustang and a freakin dodge 1500 painted with bass boat color. Then I noticed that everyone that walked up, the anouncer new their whole life history. It was everyone in the club got trophy's. So that was the last time I bothered going to them.
