Guys, I need your help...I had a really nice template made up for correctly drilling for the SS emlems and eng size emblem, but I have misplaced it, and my body guy wants to drill the holes before he paints the fenders. Thanks in advance for your help. Mike:bowtie:

Battmann, thanks for the reply...I have the assembly manual, with that page, but I found it a little confusing. I figured out the (0) reference but was unable to conclude what the (15) reference point is? I was hoping someone had an SS car with the original drilled fenders apart, and could make me up a template from the existing factory deilled holes. The fenders that were on my car, were not the originals, and the SS emblems looked like a 2 year old located and drilled the holes. Not even close. My other SS car is assembled and the emblems are bolted on from behind. So I am in a pickle...the painter wants to paint, but not before the correct holes are drilled. Thanks Mike

On your assembled car, you can remove the lower bolts from the fender and the shroud bolts and swing the lower part of the fender outward enough to get your hand in there and remove the nuts. This is the way I reinstalled my Z28 emblems using the nuts.
