    Looking for a rear z28 emblem for a 70-73.

Let me know if you have one for sale.

    Thanks,

I will say, a lot of the repop emblems are very good.

    Thanks for the clarification.
My car is a 71, so I believe I would need the emblem.

Some 1971 Z28s with the tall spoiler came with a decal from the factory (I have survivor pics). All short spoiler cars got the metal emblem. I have NOS GM emblems on my car but when I compared them to Trim Parts and OER, the aftermarket emblems had less flaws than my NOS emblems.

I will agree. I have NOS and aftermarket Ralley Sport fender emblems. I am debating on which ones to use.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. So if I have 1971 with a tall spoiler, it would be correct for the metal emblem, or the decal? Or would either would be correct?

The 1971 AIM references a 3994698 "Decal", but makes no reference to tall or low spoiler, but clearly shows the low spoiler. It does show the part number changing from 3982046 Emblem on August 10th 1970. My guess is that all low spoiler cars got the emblem in 71 and the tall spoiler cars got the decal. The low spoiler emblem wouldn't have fit the curve of the tall spoiler very well. They most likely would have had to use a flat fender emblem. Since the AIM didn't reference this, I find it unlikely they would have done this.

I see many photos with an emblem, but these are not known survivors. Here is the best I could find:
    http://smclassiccars.com/chevrolet/...-survivor-one-of-the-best-in-the-country.html
    which shows the decal.

The emblem even changed part number from 3982046 to 3981889 by the October of 1970 Chevrolet parts book.
