I followed this car quite closely since it was just down the street from me, before the BAT seller got a hold of it. I got into quite a spirited back and forth on BAT, and took all the slings and arrows for questioning the originality of the car. As far as I could tell, the car probably had a 383 in it, which I didn't care too much about, but the original "matching numbers" engine was a horrible restamp, and the car had a number of other issues that the seller tried to bluff his way through. If anybody wanted to read through the comments you will get a feel for the seller's tactics.

It's located in Poway, not too far from me. If anybody wants a set of eyes on it, let me know. But I don't think it is really worth chasing, anyways.

Looks like the gray car sold for $45150 on Hemmings. Probably about right for the buyer and seller.
