    Exactly. I’m thinking that will help a lot. These infrequently driven cars with the muffler so far to the rear of the car can so easily have moisture issues there.

    Back in my mechanic days we had a minimally driven 60s tbird towed to our shop one -35 day where the exhaust was so frozen the car wouldn’t start like potatoes shoved in the tailpipes.

    Maybe it is deceiving but it also looks like you don't have a clamp on the upper joint at all. Isn't that just the muffler hanger showing?

    Your right It's missing 2 upper clamps. You cant find a good shop in south FL to do any good work now days. Thanks
