Don't be so sure.
I’ll be selling my socks at Barrett Jackson for a 100 dollars each if anyone’s interested
About what, the price or the certification? His inspection reports do have several pages and one is a punch list of items that are correct and not correct, not sure what is outlined as BJ does not have it up for viewing. Some people like JM and some do not, lots of knowledge people on this site and others that could help identify a car as well.
I think we should be the appraisers for the 2nd gen we have more knowledge then the people that charge crazy money and don t know everything that they are appraising.
JMs strength is 1st gens.
Where exactly is the "GM COPO" build center? First I've heard of that. Sounds so official. Surprised GM isn't all over that.
Could of paid full asking price for this one and got a 4 speed and 28K. http://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=148389
I would tend to discount the auto discount for a particular car as we don't know this buyers needs. Maybe he has a bum left leg and really wanted a yellow 70 Z. The other stuff with this particular car I can't write off as easy. The drinks must have been flowing pretty good. It is Palm Beach though
Now you'll see comparable cars advertised for $60K with the a tagline similar to: "One of similar quality just sold at Barrett-Jackson's Palm Beach sale for $88K!!"
Very strong money IMHO.
