Hello everyone, I've located a 71 Camaro that hopefully will be mine soon, problem is that I have to stuff the car into a 14 foot enclosed trailer, can anyone that's in various stages of their project tell me the approximate length with the front nose removed, in other words from the back bumper to the tip of the front frame rail. Thanks.
Many thanks Pilot, looks like I'll have to get 16 foot enclosed trailer or just rent a Uhaul car transporter, don't really want to do that because it's a 1400 mile trip.
I don't believe a 16' enclosed trailer will give you enough room to secure/tie down the car, maybe 18', 20' for sure.
I think we're about 15.5 feet overall, so yes you're right, it will be a snug fit if at all, now that I think about it the inside dimension of the 16' is probably less than 16' and the next size up is a 20' x 8.5' wide and my truck won't tow it, looks like uhaul will have to do. Thanks.
I flew down to see this car, if anyone is interested let me know, this is the car I was going buy but after taking a closer look I decided to walk away, it could be a good project even though there are questions any buyer will ask. http://mohave.craigslist.org/cto/5426009826.html
