Doesn’t the engine peak at 5,800? Add 8% overrun and your at 6,264.
I’ve seen some real carnage with Hyd Rollers being rpm’d beyond there “sweet spot” for nothing, especially when the curve is falling off a cliff, gets real expensive quickly, get out the cheque book.

Well, nothing wrong with 6,300 chip then. You will have enough converter and torque on recovery there’s no use beating on it for nothing.
Solid Roller, then it would be a different cam and a few changes to add in another 1,000+ rpm....reliably and making power there.
