New fuel pressure gauge from AED , Same mfg i purchased my carburetor from . This gauge will mount to my fuel pressure regulator New Autometer #3AN line which is 6' in length , this will replace my old line from the fuel log on the carb to the Autometer 2-5/8 fuel pressure gauge mounted on the cowl near the windshield
Awesome! Exactly I am taking with the 73. Which seat brackets did you use for the JAZ seats. Adjustable or no?
Finally have some paint on my Quick Performance 9" housing . Using Eastwood chassis black paint applied with a foam roller .looks almost like it was powder coated
Love the build / upgrades muscl car! So jealous of that crate engine - I seriously considered one but due to the dollar exchange it would have killed my credit! hah
You've just reminded me... I need to get my az$ going on the mods I needed to do on my Diff . Thanks, LOL
Planning on pulling it out of the car and welding a back brace on, as well as a drain plug and a fill plug. Also want to install a wheelie bar bracket while it's out. But I'm still humming and hawing as to what to built for a jig to secure the diff housing during the welding procedure. I do have something in mind but I'm on procrastinating mode. Your attachment on Post#54 sort of gave me some motivation. LOL
Curious when going aftermarket diff why you went with the 9" instead of staying GM 12 bolt or even Dana 60? I did use a 9" in one of my Vega street/strip cars back in the late 80's. But I only did that because it was cheaper. My buddy and I pulled 8" axles from a maveric at the junk yard and cut and shortened the 9" tubes to fit them and moved the mount brackets. Another local guy welded the spider gears with the nickle rods. 9" was from a truck with 350:1 gears. So for around $225 I had a narrowed rear that didn't break every third time out to the track.
