i HATE shortbeds, everyone has to have one even worse are the cutup lwb to swb. But to each their own as the saying goes. For $900 id grab that right away and have fun fixing it up, you gotta post some pics !!

Nice looking truck. Check your rear cab mounts though, they are bad for that. I remember my 70 caved in and the pointed body bolt poked a hole in the gas tank in the cab, lol.

You won't loose your money on that bodystyle truck. I did a budget frame off on a 72 SWB stepside for my father when I got out of high school. Cab corners, rockers, floorboards, and the front lower part of the front fenders are places to watch out for on some of them. Long or short beds are still desirable, although you'll be able to sell a shortbed a lot faster.

Step sides are hot around here. I like them myself. Especially with the fender mounted spare tire setup. More useable and you can make that extra wheel shine for a little more glitz. I'm partial to them as if you have a flat loaded, you don't have to get under the truck.

Dang. Most of you guys will cry then. I hauled 3 rust free square body chevy shortbeds to the scrapper. Shortbeds here arent worth anything. Cant use a shortbed, dont want a shortbed, dont like shortbeds! Everything I own is a usable long bed!

Well, that was not the smartest thing I ever read. You could have at least sold them and saved them from destruction.
