72 Manual console- Quality

I am getting ready to purchase a new console for my 72, what company has the better quality and deal?

OER's reproduction is very spot on. They appear to be out of stock at the usual sellers though.

I installed an OER console a few months ago. I am happy with The quality. At the time I got is from ss396, they had the best deal. Had to wait about A month for it due to back order.

Yea that is their "brand" but you can find other sellers where you get a better price and don't have to deal with Classic's inflated shipping prices. Forget what I was looking at the other day, small part like a door handle or such, $24 for the part $49 for shipping, WTF??? NPD, Camaro Central SS396, Ecklers or Ricks, all carry the OER branded items. I always tried to place a large order with Classic so I could get the free shipping, that console may qualify, was about $299 I think when I got mine, and it is a nice piece.

I was able to order the OER console yesterday from Classic Industies, I had a horrible sales rep who was rude and not able to let me know of there was anything else I needed to order. I already received the console floor brackets and closing plate. Any ideas what else I will need to find while the back order console arrives?

You will need the shifter tunnel and the ashtray insert also. Make sure you get the right shifter plate. They differ by year.

I am also wondering what bolts are needed, I did not see them in the catalog
