73 rear window defroster

    did all 73>s come with a rear window defroster

    no , mine didn't .[​IMG].. it was optional on all models . RPO C50 with about 17,000 cars having one that year .

    No, it was an option.. my first 73 LT Camaro (bought in 1978) did not have one but my current 73 RS had one although I removed it recently as it is not needed.

    Thanks for the input.. yes as of now it is out .. lol whole car been apart
    Probably will just put it back in when I get back to that area again

    I think Scotty's car caught on fire due to that defroster. I can't find the pics yet tho.

    nope, it wasn't the defroster, but I did have one in there at the time. ;)

    My bad... What was it that tripped the fire? I thought it was a bad relay or something.
