Does anyone know what is the ignition coil bracket number that came original on a 74 Z28 and the degree angle of it? Is it 1970344?

George,
My 1974 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (July 1974) lists GM # 1846538 in Gr. 2.183 for 73-74 All (8 cyl.).
My 1973 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (July 1973) lists GM # 1846538 in Gr. 2.183 for 73 All (8 cyl.).
My 1972 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Feb. 1972) lists GM # 1970344 in Gr. 2.183 for 72 Camaro (& others) (8 cyl.).
My 1971 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Jan. 1971) lists GM # 1970344 in Gr. 2.183 for 71 Camaro (& others) (8 cyl.).
My 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Oct. 1970) lists GM # 1971011 in Gr. 2.183 for 70 All w/Sp. H/Per. (350).
My 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Oct. 1970) lists GM # 1970344 in Gr. 2.183 for 70 Camaro (& others) (8 cyl.).
My 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Jan. 1970) lists GM # 1971011 in Gr. 2.183 for 70 All (302). NOTE: The 1970 Z28 was originally scheduled to have a 302 engine.
My 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Jan. 1970) lists GM # 1970344 in Gr. 2.183 for 70 All (8 cyl.)(exc. 302, 454).
I have about 15 or 20 ignition coil brackets in my collection, many of them are GM # 1970344. I had one 1971011 bracket but sold it years ago. I might have some 1846538 brackets but maybe not. I need to research the 1846538 bracket.

George,
I have noticed subtle differences in my collection of ignition coil brackets but never paid much attention. I always thought that maybe there were 2 difference vendors that made the brackets. The 1969-1970 Z28 bracket, GM # 1971011, is extremely hard to find. As I stated previously I did have a 1971011 bracket that I bought at a swap meet years ago. The slope angle was different and there was a large rectangular "notch" that was cut out for clearance purposes, I assume.
I will look thru my box of coil brackets when I get a chance and get back to you.

George,
Attached are 3 photos of 3 different ignition coil brackets in my collection. I think that I have another box with several more brackets but I have not found it yet.
In photo #1 the bracket with the tag marked 1970 CHEV. is GM # 1970344. It has one round hole and one oblong hole....Angle measures 25+/- degrees.
In photo #1 the bracket on the top left is unknown but is very similar to the 1970344 bracket except it has one round hole and one open slotted hole...... Angle measures 27+/- degrees
In photo #1 the bracket on the top right is unknown. The coil would stand vertically and has 2 oval holes with 2 smaller round holes on the sides......Angle is zero degrees or level.

From Chevrolet & GM Parts History:
GM # 1943712 replaced by GM # 1970344 in Dec. 1971.
GM # 1968423 replaced by GM # 1970344 in May 1972.
GM # 1846538 discontinued sometime between Jan. 1982 & Jan. 1990.
