No real significant updates since I still can't weld the remaining components on my car due to waiting for my dad's arm to heal. Hopefully have something to show February/March.
But I did buy a NOS mirror from @DCL70 to continue the goal to make the car look like bumblebee.

I'm also in the process of selling my house and buying something new as I just started a new job and want to move a little closer to the office. (Also I hate my neighbors)

I thought you just had your home built and you just moved in?? How far are you from the office? How bad can the neighbors be?

You are correct
I did just move into a newly built house, office is about a 50 minute drive away with no traffic (usually I leave before it gets bad so not a big deal)
My tag says I'm in Sacramento, but thats not technically true. I work in Sacramento, I live closer to Yuba City which starts getting more towards the bad parts of California (or better depending on which way you swing politically I guess) Since I was working from home the past 6 years where I lived didn't matter much too me. But I started a new job and they expect me to show up every 3 days because...reasons. (I can still do my job 100% remotely, but is what it is)

As for my neighbors, it has been an on going issue since I've live here. They're just real trashy individuals that have no consideration for their surroundings. They constantly play loud music that vibrate my home, they throw garbage in my front and backyard. It started off just asking them to turn it down and such, they say sure, do it for a moment and then it immediately goes back up. Just ends up turning into a situation where me and the surrounding neighbors call the cops on them because they're being loud well past midnight. And then get woken up again at 4-6am by them (or others in the area) when they remote start their car and the music starts blasting from their cars so you can't sleep in. These aren't college students or anything either, they're in their 40s and just sit around in their garage drinking while listening to loud music.

3 people on my court have given up and already sold their house to get away from it, and now it's my turn. I do like my house, I just can't stand the people around it. I'm aware that might be a problem at the new location as well...but it will at least be in a much nicer area so I'm hoping it will be less of a risk. This home served it's purpose, I gained a lot of equity (a lot quicker than I assumed it would have) and I can use that to buy a nicer home in an area with good schools whenever I eventually decide to have a family.

Ahh the days of attaching cans of Lysol to catalytic converters to show a holes how much we like them are sadly gone, HAA HA , Hopefully the new spot will be better and quieter. When you list your open house, you might want the neighbors to win a trip to Disney , HAA HA

and an awful time to buy!
it's actually why I'm going for another new construction, didn't have to worry about bidding. I got lucky, the lot I picked was sticker price, they're making everyone bid on the new lots.

New image restrictions are a bit annoying, but is what it is Progress this weekend! All it required was the impending move in May (also I sold my home last weekend so that's great)

There is a support brace we had to weld to the new suspension, I didn't do it before paint because I figured it would be hard to get full coverage. Which is still true but I might have gone about that different in another life.

I'll need to touch up some the paint, but nothing major. One of the support braces came powder coated for some reason but had to grind it off anyways so that was silly.

We bolted in the spring perch for the subframe connector and the control arm. It's going to come back out after the move and mock up is done for powder. I want to get that along with the front wheel wells, subframe, and radiation support coated at the same time after mock up is done to reduce the chance of scratching it.

And then we flipped the car back over and bolted in the old 10 bolt

As you can see it's a bit....off But that's because it's missing the watts link and torque arm. I can't install those without the Ford 9"

Anyways today we modify the subframe and more pictures to follow

Ok, this post will be a bit more substantial then yesterdays. First thing we did was bolt the subframe back up to the car to get measurements on the subframe connectors (more on that later), and then modified the shock mount.

Shock mounts now fully welded up

Here is the adapter we had to weld for the subframe connectors (had to for the torque arm)

Bolted up the subframe connector and the cross brace for the torque arm

And now we're done until the move, the car can roll around again, next thing to buy is probably going to be the ford 9" which wasn't my orgional plan, but the 10 bolt isn't working as well as it was in my ind, even has a temp solution.

I have even more room in my garage though, so thats nice
