So then I think it just comes down to being able to fit it with good pushrod alignment given how critical pushrod motion is to its operation. I broke the rules with my setup - reduced the angle and so had to drill the pedal higher - but it works and feels fine.

You need it to be 17 degrees for good motion, in theory if I take off the bracket of the original booster we should be good

Strange s-trac with 3.70 gears came in the mail! still waiting on the ford 9" to be done. No timeline on that, but I'm in no rush, the camaro is still burried under parts in the garage due to the move.

If I knew it was going to be directly shipped to me, I would have ordered directly from strange so I could have gotten microblue finishing done. I am concerned about break in period due to my engine and rear gears having contradictory break in procedure. If anyone has thoughts please chime in, I have attached both procedures.

Strange says no harsh acceleration, while chevy says to do a WOT after about 30 miles in gear
so...I don't know what to do.

I would ask Strange, as I think the noise is what you are trying to avoid with rear break in . Or find a old rear and break in engine, then rear.

Finding an old 3rd member isn't a bad idea, but I don't know if any factory cars had 35 spline axels, I'll see what I can find though

I just went through this, I followed the rearend break in for driving the car, I did let the engine idle at first for about 15 mins to heat everything up, also used standard oil not synthetic.
After a few heat cycles on the rearend I did the pulls that GM recommends and changed the oil, all was good. Cut the filter open, no issues.
I'm now at 700 and need to change the engine oil again.
Rearend fluid was changed at about 300 because of a leaky pinion seal, Quick Performance covered that. This is their fabricated 9 inch. No gear noise 👍

New spindles came in the mail, already modified for after market brakes. I plan on keeping my old spindles just in case but unlikely I'll need to use them, maybe if I want hot swappable big brakes for the track haha
Anyways, lead times on rear end is 120 days, so hopefully I get it in September or October. I reached out to strange regarding break in....they were not helpful. So I guess I'll just do what @mrfleet12 said.

Also need to make sure you end up with a pedal ratio of around 4:1 - 5:1 and that the master cylinder bore size is compatible with the rest of your brake system.

Sounds like the Tesla ibooster units are generally 1" bore which is a pretty good size to work with on an aftermarket/not stock power assisted system but interested to know if the Honda units are the same or if there are any differences between years, models etc.?

From what I have found, the honda and tesla iBooster are exactly the same minus the reservoir. I'm still researching this though, I haven't bought anything yet.

It's been a bit since I have bought a movie accurate part, but I picked up the am/fm radio
1660092796668.png

It's not something I really needed to buy yet, but I thought it was a good deal for the condition it was in. I was going to get the repo that has bluetooth, but it's now $900 and only has bluetooth 3.0, instead I'm thinking about gutting the internals and just upgrading it.

I've seen a few people post about it and I saw it recently forgot to bookmark it, anyone have good recommendations for people that have this sort of service?

I believe thats the go to people to get a retrofit on radios, but I'd like to hear other's thoughts on the subject.
