Thank you, Yes If it was about 1992 it would be a Top of the line Late Model. Now it is a Limited Late Model or Sportsman type car. The basic difference is my car has Cast Iron heads a wet sump motor and no coil over shocks.
phaedruss44 that's a very cool looking street stock and i think i've seen it race up at watsonville a few times when we've raced there

senior/vet division 5 club championships , 3 nationals championships
pro car 3 pro division championships
mini dwarf 1 club championship and numerous 1rst place finishes ........not bad for a 8 year old driver
Just out of curiosity, what engines are in those pro cars?
the #56 has a built kawaski ZX10R and the#55 is running a built yamaha R1

Heres what we "use" to do from Apr. to Sept. every year. We won the track championship back in 04' in the late model division. We still have 2 cars and all the equipment, but only race a few times a year.....
Car is a Howe XL offset chassis....All tube chassis with coilovers, front and rear, quick change rear end, 3 link rear suspension with rear mounted panhard bar. 4 wheel disk brakes, Howe 4 piston calipers, dual master cylinders. Engine is a de-stroked 377, 3 speed trans, 160 cross over headers, magneto ignition...
We always seemed to use a different tire every year, sometimes it was a 8' or9' treaded tire, 8' or 10' slicks...
We do all the fab work ourselves. Building the bodies is fun, unless you were fixing damage from some idiot! Start to finish we use 7 4 x 10 sheets of aluminum for a entire car, front to back....
this is a friend of ours who used to race dwarf cars and now owns (4)cra non winged 360 sprint cars (1) cra 410 sprint and a usac midget
This is our factory stock car. Simalar rules to IMCA stock car but allow a 4412, hood scoop, and spoiler. The carb helps 1000%. little vortec headed 355. 6 wins, 2 seconds, a 4th and a 6th. Valve springs going away for the last to races so time for some maintence. Hope to be back to pulling 3-4 car lengths off the leader again this week.
Nice looking car. Wish we could do a few thing more to our engines but oh well.
