Factory ride height, running 15x7 currently. I was thinking 16-17's But unsure on spacing / offset.. The rear end is kinda sagging due to stressed springs, but new shocks on. Plan on keeping factory break setup till I can afford to upgrade. Also if anyone has a 74-77 with bigger rims could you post a picture please! Thanks for all feedback!
Hey, nice looking car. You may want to check the rear leaf springs for cracks. Also, the later 2nd gens had "corrected" springs that adjusted the ride height UP in the rear - the earlier 2nd gens such as yours sat lower in the rear. No, air shocks are typically frowned upon for our cars (although I used to run them on my old '77). The issue is that the upper shock mounts are not strong enough for the additional stress that air shocks introduce. You can actually damage the upper mounts.
