78 Seat belts in a 74???

    Does anyone know if 1975-81 Seat belts will fit in a 1974?? And are camaro-firebird seat belts interchangable?

    Yes they will bolt right in. No differance between the Camaro and Firebird seatbelts

    That's good to know, I need one rear retractor for my 74. Just not sure if I need the left or right? What year does the mounting bolt hole change from the top to the side? The one retractor I do have has the mounting hole on the top.

    I did figure out the one I have is a right n I need a left.
