79 clutch fork return spring ?

    what you can do is. Run one spring from the fork to the hole beside the adjustment rod. This keeps the rod from falling out. then put another spring to hold the fork/peddle up. I put my second spring on the inside under the dash. Work great so far. I know its not stock. But it doesnt interfere with my headers this way.

    I think I have it covered being the new stock replacement spring to the frame is plenty stout. Sorry the photos went away, I moved them to another spot in my photo bucket and I guess it did not like that.

    My spring is hitting the headers and making noise when the pedal is depressed.
    I plan on welding a nut to the frame, were there will be no interference, and use an eye-bolt to attache the spring.
