79 Z28 Project

Thought I would post my project car I just started. It is an all orginal car. Thought startin this thread might help me keep track of the progress instead of just leavin the pictures on the camera. Anyway like I said I just got started on it so it ain't much yet. My dad gave it to me in the fall. He bought the car new and it has just been sitting around for about ten years in his back yard. Here are some pictures from a few days after I brought it home:

After I got it home I removed the interior to see what kind of damage I was lookin at. It got a little worse, but I guess they all do.

Since these pictures I removed the seatbelt brackets and took off the botched up sheetmetal patches on the driver and passenger side rear seat pans. I haven't had a chance to take any pictures of it after. But it looks like i am going to be putting in two rear seat pans, a passenger side toe board, and a inner wheel house on the drvierside for sure.

I actually already started on a 350 30 over. I've got 280 magnum cam kit, bowtie heads, sealed power hypereutetic pistons. haven't got to start putting it together yet still waitin on the block to come back from the machine shop.

rough shape?... Mine was 10x worse than this! LOL That camaro is actually in good shape. Iv seen way worse being restored.
