Hi All, been along time since a post! I'm still on the search for a proper reproduction of the rubber air induction seal for 1980 and 81 Z's. Spoke with reps at Steel Rubber parts recently and they have no interest in producing. He suggested OER....... Anyone know if this part is reproduced?
    Thanks!

auto zone has a trunk weather seal in bulk that can work. It's not as wide as original but has a 3/4" hieght that will slip over edge of base as original does.

    Hi,
I had a previous post on this issue, what I used was a GM part that was a hood the fender seal on a Corvette. If you search posts by me (MFINN62) you should find it.

I ordered a new 80 Z28 and instead of having the round rubber seal they used dumb dumb in the factory.

They still make the hood seals for both the 1969 Camaro Z-28 and the 1970-2 with cowl induction hoods .These are options

Think the OP is talking about the fiberglass hood to steel hood seal and not the seal around the open air breather.
