New to the board too ...

Just picked this up ...haven't done anything with it ..but put new tires on it. (old ones all dry rotted).

1980 .. found in a "bad" area of town ...

Motor and trans have been replaced with a 383/Performance (still trying to get all the information on it) He really didn't keep receipts for his cash purchases.

20 ft Paint job of Inferno Red. Car originally was blue ...then yellow..then Orange.

Now I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do ...

    Short list:

    Body Work
    Interior
    Dash is cracked
    Rear Drum to Disc

Been so long since I've done anything car related ....

from the pictures I see ,one of first things I would do is rebush and or replace your door hinges.2nd Gen Camaros doors are heavy. That is the reason why your latches are the way they are. I would try to find an assembly manual for your car. Good luck to you.

    Thank you everyone ...

I'll accept any advice any offers ...

The doors are the first thing on the list. Going to be totally rebuilding them. Drivers regulator is shot ... (as are the hinges ). The car is actually heading over to a restore shop, and being gone thru so I know everything I need to do to it. Hate surprises down the road..

Looking like this is a better find then I originally thought. Finally got it up on a lift to look it over...(still trying to get all the paperwork on the engine/trans)

Floor Boards have been replaced. He told me did them, but wasn't sure how well they were done.

Vac' is still an issue it looks like for the parts. Debating on a Vac' canister.

Trying to find some resto-mod idea's .. As much as I like the originals. The last owner started to change it into a Z28 Clone... Something were done great ..some not so great.

Any idea's would be great ...

Dash / Gauge idea's (thinking Dakota)
Dash Cover ? (what brand has been the most successful)

Center Console ...replace or remove. They cut 2 holes in it for cups or beers...SMH Idiots.

    Thanks in advance.
