80 z28 adjustable sear back

Hi, just wondering if anyone has an 80 z with adjustable driver seat back? I have owned quite a few 2nd gen camaros and haven't seen this option before! but i just picked up an 80 z for my oldest boy for his first car and it had it!! just wondering if it was a rare option or if i've just been unlucky not have seen one before. thanks for any input!!!

The adjustable seat option RPO-AN6 wasn't very common in 1980. Only 14,605 Camaros got it.

My Z28 has this option. Being 6' 4", I needed the ability to tilt the seat back for more head room.

My 78Z has that option, I just need to get the seats out of my attic and check to see if it's there.

What exactly is it I am looking for??
How far back does it tilt??

spoon i think it either has a level to tilt back or it doesnt.

my 78z did not.. seats werent fully connected to rails either, but its leaned back and it was *just* forward enough that I could drive it lol

on the driver seat next to console there is another short lever with black plastic knob attached to a rod that pivets,it is opposite side across from lever to tilt seat ahead thanks for responses

that option is actually useless it moves the seatback like 1/4 inch and makes it lean crooked.the reason you have never seen another seat engineered like that.
