1970 camaro. Want to delete the factory a/c but retain the factory heat and heater hoses. Can someone recommend an a/c delete firewall panel that'll work? The Detroit Speed panel doesn't appear to be heater hose friendly...

I just grabbed some sheet metal and band saw and cut out my own. Super cheap and its worked for the last 20 years or so.

Later on cut some holes in it for the AC lines when I put in the CAA system.

I deleted the under hood AC stuff in my '70 bird before they made the AC delete blower boxes so like Zspoiler I made a custom box out of a standard one. I've since deleted all HVAC (because race car) and the modified box is sitting in my dining room , could be yours cheap! I'd replaced the blower motor on it but it only got turned on for the defroster maybe a couple times.

You just use a piece of sheet metal to fill in the space . And if you do it right you don`t notice it,

IMG_20121013_123026.jpg Got this one from Rick's/Ecklers. Don't remember the brand on the box, but the fit was good...fairly straightforward install.

AGM...That's exactly what I have. I remember now it had a small AGM decal on the inside of the plastic panel.
