I thought there was an edit button at the title’s right? And if not why not? Seems weird you can edit replies then. I don’t understand that as it’s just as easy to goof up a title as anything else.

It's just a board function thing. I think some of it has to do with spam prevention.
IE guy changes a "Help me with my Lugnuts" to "Sexy local women are waiting to meet you".
