Have reman pump already in car and trying to get hoses all figured out and ordered but forgot about getting an adapter for back of pump. SO if I am using flared hoses, can anyone tell from picture which adapter I need for hose to connect to back of pump? Don't know pump year, probably bought it from Rockauto or somewhere long time ago, so what year it is ,is a mystery.

Do you have your old pump?
You can swap the fitting from it, if you do.

No sir, there was no pump. But I am rethinking using the flare type hose. If that pump uses o ring, and I will be using an IROC box on it, wouldn't it be easier to just use hoses that take o ring? What year did they start using the o ring style fittings?

Camaros started with the metric o-ring seal in 80, if I remember correctly.
My 78 had the old style but my 80 has the metric fitting.

If you new power steer gear is for the 80 model then you will be all good as the hoses/lines will have the correct o-ring fittings and all will mate together.
