Like the title saids, after some photos of peoples installed pro flo 4 units
Very good looking setup
Don't judge my wiring, still needs a clean up and consolidation now that I'm finally settling into a setup. And don't mind the ECU being zip tied to the harness... I want to attach it to the firewall in the empty driver side fender/cowl area but I haven't felt like taking the inner fender off to do it.
Looks like Corky has the older 4150 throttle body, the newer ones have the MAP sensor attached directly to the front of the throttle body along with a few more vacuum ports.
Really like that system, I noticed, both cars have the serpentine belt system , that I want to install , just need some advise about a couple of items that I need help figuring out, HAA HA, I need lots of help, HAA HA, really like that pro-flow 4 system!!
Looks like you did the AD244 alternator upgrade. That's such an awesome alternator...
Looks good, Thoughts on the system
Like it a lot, Thoughts on the system
There's been some discussion on the ProFlo 4 site about the new/old throttle body. One guy obtained the new TB for comparison, there is no difference in performance. I considered the XT style, but I really wanted the carb look. My bottom line evaluation, this thing is frigging sweet, especially mid throttle. It's been proven many times, at WFO, you can't beat a Holley carburetor. But all the points up to WFO, this ProFlo 4 system kicks azz.
My son has a ve ss ute, efi L98, it weighs pretty close to my chevy which was a surprise, the throttle response is way smoother, idles better. If i can get similiar throttle response and more stable idle then its a positive direction to go in.
Very cool. Nice that you can retain the shaker intake. Any issues with height for using the shaker? Aftermarket dropped base?
