Has anyone installed one on the inside of their rear window? Did it work well? My car is non-AC and I intend to drive it in the rain. The factory fan unit just doesn't do a good enough job. My rear window is in good shape. I don't want to spring for a new one.

In 1975 I installed the silver tape style in my 71 Z28 and it worked very well. Hope today they have thinner lines cause mine were about 1/8” wide.

^ That also requires a relay/timer, different wiring harness and a different switch, IIRC.
The factory 79-81 switch won't be a direct fit for the 77 bezel.

When I had the blower in my new Z28 I had to roll my window down an inch or 2 to make the fan work faster.

Lol...yeah and all that. Im sure you can make it work as a stand alone system as to not mess with the factory wiring.
