Spent a bit of time welding up the seams on the subframe today. Also welded in the Lab-14 upper control arm reinforcement plates, and started welding in the lower control arms plates.

Can't wait to start bolting parts back on this subframe!

Thanks! It's coming along as quickly as I can afford it to!

Ran out of has welding the subframe this morning, get a refill this week and should have it finished, then I can paint it and start assembly.

I'd like to have it rolling in the next month or so.
That will be a big step forward!

Made some progress today.

Finished welding in the Lab-14 control arm reinforcements.

Took the time to trim and weld the upper shock mount overhang on the frame too.

Also got the 2 subframe mounts at the firewall repaired with the UMI repair plates.

DAM!! I just read through your thread. I think I would of sat on a grenade if I were faced with that sheet metal task. Great job with all that metal replacement. Nice looking car.

Got the rear subframe mount repairs done last night. All welding on the subframe is finished!
Going to do a little more media blasting in it tomorrow then it's ready for paint!

Subframe will be attached to the body soon! How exciting!
