I feel bad for many “accidents” and in general most people need to pay more attention. But this doesn’t apply to just the Drivers of cars and trucks. So many times I’ve seen people on bikes riding like morons. Last summer I was cut off - not even cut off the guy turned sharp right from a lane over to make a right turn onto a side road in front of me. No signal, nothing. Just turned abruptly and sharply in front of me. If I had sneezed or blinked or glanced in the rear view mirror (let alone so many other idiots I see fiddling with their phone or the vehicles touch screen bs) this guy would have been a broadside pancake under my truck.

We ALL need to pay attention to the road and not drive like idiots.

Agree. Too many folks think it’s all about them while driving around. And bikers? It’s hard to have pity for them when they split lanes, speed like egomaniacs, tailgate, zip in and out of traffic, and cut drivers off by inches. They demand respect, but seldom give it.

I know a guy who t-boned a car going so fast on a bike that the car flipped over. He was estimated to be doing over 100 in a 35 MPH zone. The guy on the bike was a high-ranking sheriff's deputy. We hear all the time that we need to look twice, save lives, etc. for motorcycles and I try to. But in many cases they're their own worst enemies.

I've seen some really dumb riders, but that's on them...most of them would only be a danger to their own mortality (not all). But people driving cars are like the mime above...they just think motorcycles can magically stop or jump over their [email protected]

I've had a few butt puckering moments on my bike, but have seen some scary stuff while riding or driving a car.

I quit riding after doing "The Ragdoll" in my '20s! I'm 64 now and still have pain from the injuries, and probably will for the rest of my life!

That dude is lucky to only have "Minor Injuries" considering he was not wearing ANY gear but a helmet! I kept what was left of mine for years as a "reminder".
