    anyone else get this call,
had a msg on my answering machine from a computer womans voice... alexa from amazon fraud dept and that someone had bought a $799 iphone and if this was not me i should call 910-387-0865 but if it was me that ordered it then do nothing.

quick check of caller id said 808-300-9090 name unknown (first tip off)

then i started to think why would amazon call me just for ordering something, i order all kinds of stuff from them and they never call me

so i go to amazon and no new orders there and no warnings

    another scam going around

    .

Just got a call from someone saying they were Comcast. Caller ID said 1-800-Comcast. Only problem was they said the server was down and everything on my end crashed. I'm currently using Comcast internet, and the call was received on a Comcast phone, and my TV is on and it's Comcast cable. Same old scam accent, didn't stay on to get all the scam details.

I love caller ID,I mess with them, wifey has a lot of Hmong employees, and they give her oriental music clips [some isn't bad] I play it in the back ground and answer "Super Asian massage home of 25 dollar happy ending, would you like to make appointment?"I've also said WE are a Robert Kraft approved provider . Or I'll say Super China buffet "home of the one pound chicken wing" is this pick up or delivery? I actually had one ask how our General Tso's chicken was and he wasn't messing back with me.I told him we load with MSG to make you fat and lazy-I digress-Later Steve!!

I'll sometimes answer the phone in my best radio announcer voice "Next caller, you're on the air! Name and home town please!"

i swear i just overheard the office assistant say something about comcast, server, server down, he needs to call them back.....ha ha. thats funny. He's such a knucklehead i hope he keeps calling them back.

Oh, and i probably get 2-3 calls a week about my icloud (dont have) being compromised, windows 7 hacked, "please call back and have your credit card number ready", and some realtor that has someone that wants to move into my neighborhood and has picked out my house as the one they want to purchase. I never pick up my home phone. Since i have moved into that house in April, i have 148 messages, and i can only recall one that was legit from a toyota dealer about my truck.

I had one tell me I was going to jail if I didn't pay.
Told him I went to the bank & all they had was 9s, 357s & 40s. Could he meet me behind the mall w/ his family at dusk to be paid? Click.

I had those as well .I also had one claiming they were from Comcast and someone had hacked my site for porn .And it would cost me $350 of which they would reimburse me.I have worked for some big corporations And they never do anything like that. So told him I would get back to them .Afterword I have a friend I have at Microsoft Cyber crime division and he agreed with me that it probably a "fisher" I also contacted Comcast Corporate off as well .They never got back to me. I have also added an app on my cell phone and my landline as well. PLus I have a habit anymore that if I dont recognize the number .I dont answer it.Because if they want to talk to you they will leave a message.Even I look the number up online as well .It saves a lot of hassle.

Lost track of how many car warranty’s I’ve had that were about to expire.

This last round was an offer to reduce the interest on my credit cards. I went along with it... they asked how many high interest cards I had, I answered 38 so far. They guy seemed genuinely shocked when he said “wow that’s a lot of credit cards”. I said “I know! That’s why I want to get some lower rates!”

He then asked me how much I owe on the cards and I said “I’m not sure...I stole these ones and charged a whole bunch but I thought I’d at least get them a better rate!”
Last one sounded like he said “as s hole” Just before the hang up.

Sad part is nobody really cares who gets scammed and for how much. Wild, wild West out there. Wife and I have cell phones that we use, house phone is reserved to listing the number on all the garbage sites that insist on a phone number. We just ignore it usually.
