Hello everyone, it's been awhile. Is there a connector out there that will connect an AN hose to a stock metal fuel line? I need to figure out a way to connect my fuel return line to my fuel pressure regulator which uses AN fittings. This is actually for my Shortbox truck. I really don't want to put a hose clamp over the braided line to connect it to the barbed end of the stock steel fuel return line.
An is just a different flare angle. You can slip on a fitting and flare the metal tube. A double brake flare woul more than likely work sufficiently....
Yes, they make a compression fitting with AN fitting on other end. I have a couple on my fuel line (AN-6), got them from Jegs or Summit, just don't remember.
Yup like corkyE said. I got mine from summit. Compression on one end ( nut and Ferrell) and AN male on the other.
There are all sorts of AN adapter fittings out there. I use both 1/2 aluminum hard line, and #8 braided fuel line. Just check at your local "Speed Shop" ,some parts stores.online .And even at some airports.
Ok guys, thanks I appreciate it. I knew there had to be something out there but I just didn't know what the technical term for the adapter was. I bought this one and then another one for the main 3/8" fuel line. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-at165064erl
