Any Iowa members?

Would be cool if there was an active 2nd gen club in Iowa. I'm in the Des Moines area and would be great to connect with some members locally.

 

I'm east of Des Moines about 30 miles.

 

SE Iowa Fairfield Ottomwa area.

It's at the Iowa State Fair grounds. It's June 29th-July 1 this year.

Nice, will have to find you guys there. Never been there myself before so I'm not sure how it works with getting spots or if it's like power tour

 

We're camping in the camp grounds and will be around. Parking is first come first serve. We used to get in line Thursday morning at 2am to get a good spot. Yeah, we don't do that any more. Haha The spots are basically first come first serve. Last year they had so many cars and trucks that we parked clear in the boonies behind the cattle building.

This year could go either way. This is the first year for up to 1987. So either the place will be slammed or it will be like previous years with around 4500 cars and trucks. I'm guessing it will be slammed though.
