I'm looking for a small footprint radio for my tool box. It can be Bluetooth or aux plug in, I'm good with either. Gotta be something I can plug in the wall and not have to charge all the time. I need to have some good volume and decent sound quality. It's in the shop at work so it's just to have something going on not looking for it to blow my mind in clarity. I sure don't want to drop a bunch of cash into it. I usually just go down to Goodwill any buy an old receiver but I need it smaller this time.

Anyone have anything they would recommend?

I resurrected an old radio and bought a blue tooth receiver off ebay for 10 bucks. Plugs into the aux audio input port.

i recycled all my "boom boxes" to each of my boys...to put in their rooms. Nothing more important than your own space with your own music!....even if it is just background noise for the shop :)

I never got any volume out of my Samsung with computer speakers. They were low end speakers though. I'll have to try something better and see.

Dave I totally forgot about this wireless bluetooth wifi speaker that I've got and it's awesome . It's got great sound , strong bass and the battery lasts along time on a charge

I listen to Pandora or slacker on my phone and this little speaker really sounds awesome !!!!

My daughter got a Beats Pill as a gift from her uncle last year. She loves it, but of course, the Beats price...

My son has a couple that he likes-
UE Boom 2- a few of his swim buddies have these, and they can be linked, so they get the locker room thumping after practice. Waterproof, too- he has tested it fully dunked in the pool.
ARCHEER Bamboo- this one plays pretty good, too.
Both of these are a couple years old now, still going.
