I have a couple of the blue tooth speaker deals. One's a small Dewalt and one's a Samsung, both a few years old. Both can be plugged in, and the Dewalt can also be used with a battery. I use the Samsung in garage and the Dewalt if I'm working around the yard somewhere. Pandora is the go-to for music selection and even the free version has very few commercials.

Forgot to mention - we have a BOSE SOUNDLINK MINI. it works very well, although different nose products can be hit or miss it seems.

JBL Flip bluetooth speaker. Takes up about the same amount of space as a rattle paint can. Puts out pretty well for it's size. Supposed to get about 10 hours of play time out of a full charge.

You give any thought to an Amazon Echo? That's what I listen to most of my music on now.
Being able to connect to Apple Music and having it hands-free is awesome.

I got a bunch of old boom boxes, people toss them out and I fix'em. They sure do sound good to this day. Who needs all that new fangled fancy stuff. lol.

I have 2 JBL Flip speakers one old one that has to be plugged in all the time and a new one.

You couldn't give me an Amazon Echo, or pay me to take one. They are a serious privacy problem... they are listening to everything going on around them.

The Admin Sergeant just gave me the OK to put up a shelf on the block wall so my real estate for the radio just increased by quite a bit. :) Thanks for all the suggestions
