I have a 70 that is not a z but same paint and interior code. I had the wood grain dash overlay also but nothing on my doors so I removed it thinking it was wrong? Did this color / interior combo come with the wood grain dash only on all types Z and Non Z?

I believe you could get the burl dash, without the door panels, as the door panels came only within the custom interior option.
Do you have a console, if so, did it also have the burl inlay?

Yep I have the console but it was missing when I got the car so it’s safe to say the burl dash and console were all one option? I should look to get that overlay

Part of the Z23 interior decor option:

Z23 was part of the Z87 Deluxe interior option. Z87 also included the special seats and the door panels and the woodgrain around the shifter on the console, although there are cases where Z23 also got the woodgrain on the console. Z23 and Z87 had nothing to do with Z28. They were independent of each other and could be applied to any Camaro.

I have the z23 option on mine. It comes with woodgrain dash and woodgrain wheel but nothing else from the deluxe interior package.
