Anybody running a laser jammer?

That is why it is programmed to disable after 4 seconds so you can slow down and then they can get a reading. You can adjust that time also.

I guess it does make sense that the FCC handle's radar spectrum laws, and there is no agency
for light spectrum laws......which it's funny to me that the FDA is handling them. There shouldn't
be a law to jam light.......because that's all you're doing is jamming a laser. Cat meet mouse.

I had the same experience.....my radar was picking up cruisers over hills before I even crested.
I had so many cruisers I saw looooong before they saw me. Many were emitting signals detectable pretty far back.
Not sure it was their radar guns or something else within the bands on their cruisers that were transmitting.
Either way.......priceless investment. I haven't used radar in probably 10 years.

how do you jam 2 air hoses laid across the road 10 feet apart?

Lock up your brakes, tear up the hoses, no tickets. Happens a lot around here.

or a cop with a stopwatch clocking you from telephone pole to telephone pole?

Most places won't do that anymore because it's easily beaten in court.... unless the cop has it on video.

My friend owns a aston martin, it has a dectector device from the factory. Here is how he go nabbed.

Cop is out of his car hiding behind a bridge with a hand held radar gun. the gun only sets off the radar dectector when the trigger is applied

he waits until the car is close enough that the dectector wont give him time to slow down.

I know you are talking about a jammer. I just thought I would chime in with info.

LMAO at obey the speed limits. Guys saying that apparently are either older or they have not driven in maryland. Our highways are 55mph which is absolutely ridiculous. 2 lane roads are mostly 30 which again is absurd and 4 lane main roads are mostly 40. Im sorry I am not going to take 40 minutes to get to work or back home when I can safely do it in 25 to 30. I see people pass on double yellow lines just about once a week because people get frustrated when they get behind somebody that sticks to the ridiculous slow speed limits in this state.




Anyway here is my jammer and escort redline against a laser camera. The redline is at the top of the window so it "see's" the laser before the laser jammer does that is why it alerts first. Notice the jammer only jams for 4 seconds. I am going to kick it up to 8 seconds this evening. The jammer is so sensitive it actually picked up the laser when I was going in the other direction this morning before I got to the speed camera (if you understand what I mean). The cam and laser was pointing away from me this morning and it still picked up the laser before getting to the camera. This video is on my way home going head on into the laser cam.

Yeah they call that I/O aka instant on. They normally do that on KA band. In most cases that is easy to spot unless you are on the road alone because you will pick up the short blasts as the officer hits people way up in front of you. Radar beam is extremely wide so it goes on past whatever car they aim at. Laser is very narrow and most times it doesn't make it past the car they are aiming at.

Just a little factoid for ya.... We can point the laser at your front tire and get your speed, and the jammer wont jam it.......ANNND if he can tell you're hauling tail (ie he's driven the road at the speed limit and watched another vehicle traveling at the speed limit and thus can tell you're speeding) he can still write you for reasonable and prudent speed without knowing your actual speed (at least in Alabama...)
