Lots of cool cats in this thread - here's mine! We have 4 pets total (all females) - wife's Schnauzer 'Ginger' tolerates the cats pretty well; she'll butt right in when the cats are getting treats (even though she gets hers first). The oldest of the bunch is 'Joyce' - the black & white one. She's mellowed out over the years (14). She doesn't like the cold - loves to lay by the heater or on my lap. A little over two years ago Joyce was acting sickly & we thought she was on her way out (bobcat fever was making the rounds - we live in the country). So, we took the last two kittens from a litter of a cat my oldest stepson owned. Even though they are siblings they are very different in manners & personality (kinda like people!). The one with the black mark along its nose is 'Pumpkin' - she's the weird one! VERY attentive, plays with anything, follows me everywhere, lays oddly on chair tops, & fetches like a dog!! She just started it on her own; she'll wake me up in the mornings by dropping something for me to throw (sometimes before daybreak). She also comes running when I call 'kitty' - the others might saunter in a few minutes later. The other one is 'Cali'; she is very reserved, flighty & easily startled. She likes attention but on her own time. She also has very long hair like a maine coon - we don't know what the father looked like. She is also the heaviest of the two (13lb vs 9lb). Cali has her quirks too but not like Pumpkin. Another odd thing is they have different colored noses! I've been a cat person all my life - I actually get along with all animals (my wife will tell you I get along with animals better than people lol!) Gary
This is my big boy Riot. I named him 5 years ago long before 2020. He was a rambunctious kitten. I got him and his twin sister as kittens. She very recently died. I may post up pics of her.
My wife's and mine first cat loved the car. We took every place we went he even traveled to Newfoundland
