Wondering if anyone ever bought JEGS brand headers. I am looking at a pair for the 71. Found ceramic coated that say they will work with AC and floor auto shift for $209. I don't want to buy crap so hoping someone knows if these are crap or not.

    Thanks.

I got the summit ceramic coated long tubes 1-5/8" and they've worked ok so far.
Plug fitment has been challenging but do-able. I haven't been able to get a plug socket on the third plug back on the passenger bank.

A buddy of mine has a set of Flowtech's on his 85 M/C and their TRASH. Bolt access is almost none b/c the tube is so close to it...mine are 2 1/8" (Hooker super comp) primary's and have TWICE the "bolt room" than those things have,so I say dont get those.

Never used/known anyone thats used Summit/Jegs brand headers but usually you get what you pay for, like lack of bolt room and spark plug access.

    Just my $.02

I have a set of the summit headers on my 86 c10. Perfect fit and no issues what so ever.
