OK, so the story is.....I built the '89 for my parents as a show car. Sold it after the USCC Nationals in Indy in 90 or 91, can't remember. Always read the paper (yeah, that long ago) looking at classic cars and parts sections. Description of an '89 IROC sounded too familiar, so I called. It was the car, so we bought it back and revived it to show life. Did sell it again in '03. Also still in contact with that buyer.

The '76, my first car, I built in high school (also a show car) in '85. Ultimately sold it in '06. One day in '14, going through some old files to clear out garbage, found the bill of sale I made. I knew where the buyer worked in town, but that location was long dead. Quick Google and I found him on LinkedIn. Reached out, mainly to see how it was looking. As you tend to do in these conversations, I said the age-old "If you ever decide to sell it..." 2 weeks later it was awaiting a transporter to bring it back to FL from Michigan.

Certainly much easier when you know or even stay on contact with the new owner. I have no clue who bought my last few cars.

I know one guy I bought a car from because of his unique name but I haven’t reached out because I haven’t fixed the car
